1. Overview
Token Meter is operated by Yaw Labs LLC. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at tokenmeter.sh.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: Email address (used for authentication and communication).
Usage data: LLM API request metadata including: provider, model name, token counts, cost calculations, latency, and timestamps. We do not store the content of your prompts or responses.
Payment information: Processed by LemonSqueezy. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details.
Technical data: IP address, request headers, and server logs for security and debugging purposes.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, log, or transmit the content of your LLM prompts or responses. The Gateway tier proxies requests to LLM providers but does not retain message content. Only metadata (token counts, model, cost, latency) is stored.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the Service (spend tracking, routing, dashboards)
- Send authentication codes and account notifications
- Process payments via LemonSqueezy
- Monitor and improve service reliability
- Detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access
5. Data Retention
Usage data is retained based on your plan tier: Free (7 days), Pro (90 days), Gateway (90 days), Team (1 year). Account data is retained until you delete your account. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@tokenmeter.sh.
6. Data Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AWS RDS encryption, ElastiCache encryption). API keys are stored securely. Access to production systems is restricted.
7. Third-Party Services
- AWS — Infrastructure hosting (us-west-2 region)
- LemonSqueezy — Payment processing
- LLM Providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) — Gateway tier only, request proxying
We do not sell your data to third parties.
8. Your Rights
You may: (a) access your data via the dashboard and API; (b) export your data via the export tool; (c) delete your account and data by contacting support; (d) opt out of non-essential communications.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
